Clean Eating Recipe – Turkey, Avocado and Gouda Sandwich

Clean Eating Recipe – Turkey, Avocado and Gouda Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 serving of all-natural turkey breast meat, cooked (I used Trader Joe's)
  • 1-2 slices of organic turkey bacon
  • 1 slice of organic Gouda cheese
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 pieces of whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 tea spoons of real butter
  • 1 tea spoon of organic mayo (mine was Trader Joe's organic mayo)
  • 1 tea spoon of dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. In a pan (or on a skillet), cook turkey bacon. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan or skillet, melt butter.
  3. Toast bread with butter til' they're slightly golden. Set aside.
  4. Then, add turkey breast.
  5. Turn heat to medium.
  6. Top turkey meat with Gouda.
  7. Wait until cheese melts.
  8. Lay turkey and melted Gouda on top of one slice of bread.
  9. Top with cooked turkey bacon and avocado slices.
  10. Mix organic mayo with mustard, and spread on the other slice of bread.
  11. Put last piece of bread on top of avocado.
  12. Enjoy the sandwich.

 

This sandwich was full of flavor and totally easy to make. It’s proof that clean eating recipes don’t have to taste bad and isn’t difficult to accomplish.
