Clean Eating Recipe – Honey Maple Glazed Pork Slices

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of organic ketch up
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of real maple syrup
  • 1 table spoon of dijon mustard
  • 11/2 table spoon of lite soy sauce
  • 1 tea spoon of ground ginger
  • 2 8-oz pork chops, thinly sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 table spoons of corn starch
  • 1 table spoon of rice wine
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 1/2 cup of diced green onion
  • 2 tea spoons of minced garlic
  • 11/2 table spoons of organic virgin coconut oil (I recommend Trader Joe's. click this link to see it.)

Instructions

  1. For sauce:
  2. Combine ketch up, honey, maple syrup, dijon mustard, soy sauce and ground ginger in a bowl.
  3. Set aside.
  4. For pork:
  5. Add pork in mixing bowl.
  6. Add corn starch and rice wine.
  7. Then add about 75% of pre-made sauce.
  8. Mix well.
  9. To cook pork:
  10. Heat wok on high. Add coconut oil.
  11. When oil melts, add diced onion, green onion and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 min.
  12. Add pork.
  13. Stir for 30 seconds.
  14. Turn heat down to med-high.
  15. Stir for 1 minute - and make sure all sides are being cooked.
  16. Turn heat down to med.
  17. Pour rest of the sauce in.
  18. Stir for another 2-5 minutes, or until pork is fully cooked.
  19. Turn heat off. You're done.
