Clean Eating Dessert – Dates and Almond Milk Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of frozen Greek yogurt
  • 1 - 2 cups of almond milk (amount depends on how thick you want your smoothie to be)
  • 1/4 cup of ice
  • 1 tea spoon of honey or agave nectar (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of pitted dates

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into blender.
  2. Blend til' smooth.

To make this smoothie, I used my new Vitamix 6300. It has 3 pre-programmed settings and 10 variable speed controls. For blending, all I needed to do was to turn to the “smoothie” setting, and let the blender run. The quality and consistency is like store-bought. I love the Vitamix 6300–worth every penny!
