Clean Eating Dessert – Banana Strawberry Orange Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of strawberries, sliced
  • 1 mandarin orange, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups of organic unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of frozen plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tea spoon of honey
  • 1/2 tea spoon of organic agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender (I used Vitamix 6300, which has pre-programmed setting for smoothies, and it's awesome!)
  2. Blend til' smooth.
  3. Enjoy.

This smoothie–with the sweet citrus-y addition of orange–was absolutely tasty. I had it as a snack, but of course, it could also be served as breakfast or dessert.
